There is freedom, joy and peace to be found in being otherwise than we’ve told ourselves we are.
About Marnie . . .
I am a qualified counsellor and registered member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) based in Richmond upon Thames.

I previously worked in the film industry which gave me the opportunity to travel and experience a wealth of different challenges, people and stories.

What I offer . . .

I offer both short and long term counselling and psychotherapy. I’m experienced in working with a range of issues. As an integrative practioner I draw on a range of approaches to meet individual needs. My work is guided by contemporary research into what makes therapy effective and a deep interest in indigenous wisdom and earth-based spirituality.

I offer a safe, non-judgemental and non-directive space to support your journey and growth. I work by exploring your background and repeating patterns as well as whatever is causing difficulty now. I offer a holistic approach, believing that what may seem like isolated symptoms often reflect broader obstacles in our lives.

What is therapy . . .

Therapy is an opportunity to reflect on who and how you are being. The relationship you create and shape with me forms the basis of healing and transformation.

A safe, supported environment is created where you can reflect on mind-health and emotional well-being. We explore relationships in your life, past and present – including the relationship you have with yourself.
Collaboration through compassionate and curious conversation can guide you to make sense of challenging or confusing circumstances, thereby allowing change, freedom and growth.
